On February 5, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released the 2025 National Green Factory list. SANY Energy Equipment Co., Ltd. was honored as a “National Green Factory” for its outstanding achievements in green manufacturing and low-carbon innovation. This brings the total number of national-level green factories under SANY Group to seven, marking a new phase in the company's green manufacturing system development and low-carbon operational practices.
“Green factories” serve as the core implementation units of the green manufacturing system, emphasizing land-use intensification, raw material harmlessness, clean production, waste resource utilization, and low-carbon energy. In recent years, SANY Group has continuously advanced its “globalization, digitalization, and low-carbonization” development strategy. Driven by new productive forces, it has accelerated the construction of green factories and zero-carbon factories, comprehensively upgrading its manufacturing model toward greater efficiency and lower carbon emissions. SANY Energy Equipment, recognized in this round, aligns closely with China's “dual carbon” goals, continuously refining its green intelligent oil and gas equipment R&D system and green manufacturing processes. The company has successfully launched a series of green and intelligent products, including China's first domestically produced electric-driven logging truck, ultra-high-power electric fracturing equipment sets, and an electric-driven intelligent tubing processing system. Simultaneously, through initiatives like constructing photovoltaic energy storage systems, launching intelligent energy consumption monitoring platforms, and implementing low-carbon upgrades for power systems, the company has continuously reduced production energy consumption and carbon emissions, achieving synergistic improvements in green development and production efficiency. In terms of green system development, SANY Energy Equipment has successively obtained Five-Star Green Supply Chain Certification and Green Product Management System Certification. It has also been honored with multiple accolades including Hunan Provincial Green Factory and Hunan Provincial Green Supply Chain, demonstrating its comprehensive green manufacturing capabilities and sustainable development standards.
Currently, SANY Group operates seven national-level green factories, including SANY Automotive, SANY Heavy Energy, SANY Truck Cranes, SANY Crawler Cranes, SANY Heavy Equipment, SANY Shaoshan Blades, and SANY Energy Equipment. Additionally, it has established eight provincial-level green factories, covering core manufacturing bases such as SANY Special Vehicle, SANY Heavy Machinery, SANY Chongqing Heavy Machinery, SANY Bayannur, and SANY Chenzhou Heavy Energy, forming a green manufacturing matrix spanning multiple business segments. Moving forward, SANY Group will continue to deepen its green manufacturing system, accelerate the R&D and implementation of low-carbon technologies, actively respond to China's “dual carbon” strategy, and drive industrial upgrading toward high-end, intelligent, and green development. This commitment will inject more robust and sustainable green momentum into the high-quality advancement of China's manufacturing sector.
